Dr. Marsha Coleman-Adebayo sacrificed her career at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to speak out against vanadium poisoning among miners in South Africa. Although she won a historic court victory, the EPA continued its retaliation. She challenged the agency, campaigning successfully for passage of the “No-FEAR” Act against retaliation.
