Media advisory: Global Corruption Barometer – Pacific survey to be released on 16 November
Transparency International, the leading civil society organisation fighting corruption worldwide, will release its first-ever Global Corruption Barometer – Pacific 07:00 NZT (GMT+13) on 16 November (19:00 CEST 15 November 2021).
When it comes to corruption, the Pacific has been one of the most under-studied regions in the world. Transparency International’s Global Corruption Barometer – Pacific changes that. Representing 6,000 people across ten countries and territories, it is the most extensive public opinion data on corruption ever gathered in the region. It uncovers how people experience corruption, whether they feel it is on the rise, and what they think are the most urgent problems.
The ten countries and territories represented in the report are: the Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu.
